Slicks...beaten to death..
My eyes hurt from reading all the slick threads, but I could not muster up an answer. Which of these two different slicks should I get. Approx 450-520whp when done. I have to get the 15" slick to clear my ITR brakes. Stock fenders.
9.2/24.0-15 M&H or 8.5/24.5-15
Thanks, Jason

what tranny are you running
Im tempted to say the 24.5 since it will give you more sidewall especially with that 15" rim. But the 24" is wider.
My vote is for the 24.5" x 8.5

Did you go with the 24.5? I am calculating my 4th gear MPH and I think the 24s are going to come up short.

why dont you try the 26' can they fit, prob not. Go with the largest that can fit bc 500hp is plenty. Im sure the 24-24.5 will get you in the 10's. Oops I would try the 9.2 if you are in the 500 range. Wider for more traction ,prob if you are making gobs of tq.

i had 24" and they didn't work well because they didn't have enough sidewall.i went 128mph hitting the rev limiter in 4th.now i have 26" goodyears and the work much better.i am going through the traps in the around 7000rpm now.

Can you fit the 26" slicks under your stock fenders? If not, I will go with the 24.5 slicks.
Thanks Jason

yes.i had to raise the front 1" and trim the inner lip of the front bumper and remove the plastic fender well.
