Default Injectors and FMU

Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to figure out what type of fmu to get, 12:1, 10:1, just not sure. I have 310 injectors, 255 fuel pump, AEM fuel presure regulator, and fuel psi is at 42-43.

The rest of my setup is going to be T3/T4 turbo, map bypass, 6 psi boost, Apexi VAFC. Any help or suggestions would help. Thanks.

It says in his post he has a turbo. If you are using a FMU, you should be using the stock injectors. If you want to use the 310's that you have, ditch the FMU and just use the VAFC to fine tune your fueling.

You're better off using a program like Crome (www.pgmfi.org)

FMU & bigger injectors won't work. Well, they might be okay for boost, but in VAC you're going to run so rich you're fuel economy will go to **** and you'll probablly wash your cylinder walls and blow your piston rings.

Stock is around 40-42psi. Why are you running so low with your fuel pressure?

so no fmu and tune with just the vafc. will i also be adjusting the fuel pressure regulator for tuning too?

will it cause any harm to use the 310's? or will it just be more difficult to tne on the dyno?

by the way, i'm in honolulu. howzit redline130.

Howzit. Like the others have mentioned, avoid the fmu if you can. If you can get your hands on a program like Crome or Uberdata, that would be your best bet. If not, you can tune with the VAFC and the 310's. I have a feeling that the 310's may end up not being able to supply enough fuel. BTW, I'm on the Big Island. Where will you be dynoing at?

You shouldn't use the FMU with the 310 injectors. If you do want to use the FMU, stick with the stock injectors. If you are going to use the 310's, use the VAFC to fine tune it. If you already have the MSD stuff, then use it. If not, they are not necessary, the stock ignition system will be fine.
