Default Car bogs under nitrous. Need help quick.

A friend of my is having problems with his nitrous kit every time he sprays his car bogs! bad!! it like looses power!! if anyone has any ideas let me know everything is welcome! thanks!

p.s. I think that it might be where the nitrous go into the intake it is about 4" away from the throttle body. could that be the problem?

It is a NX wet kit with a 50 shot NOS fogger on a DOHC ZC

What year is the car and has the fuel pump ever been replaced or upgraded?

I usually dont deal with nitrous but my friend had the same exact problem. It could be a few different things.

Make sure that your nitrous is working, take off the line and try spraying it, if it sprays, then check both of your jets and make sure they are the right ones.

He was bogging down also because his nitrous wasnt spraying, we pulled off the line and tryed spraying and nothing was comin out. there was a bad kink in the line so we had to get a new one. after we got the new line, he tried spraying again, it bogged down again, which really started to **** us off, well he didnt have the right jets so when it was activated, it was still running too rich, after he got the right jets, it worked fine. Then he blew his motor.

yea, make sure that the jets are the right ones. The fuel jet might be too big.

this is stupid, make sure that the bottle is filled/full. one time i had my btl heater on and the heater made it read 950psi, so i thought things were fine but after one gear the bottle was empty, so it bogged and backfired. make sure there is nitrous in the bottle.

Also, be sure to check that the nitrous and fuel jets are not reversed.

1. low bottle pressure
2. no nitrous in bottle
3. nitrous noid isn't opening
4. nitrous seal is deformed
5. nitrous filter is clogged
6. nitrous line is clogged
7. nozzle is clogged
8. leak in nitrous line
9. wrong sized jets
10. jets are switched

Your fuel pressure could also be excessive, but I seriously doubt that is the case. Check the above 10 possible causes. I'm assuming that you are using the noids that came with the NX kit so your jets should be correct for the noids you are using.
