Default HELP!! Problems with my NOS system....

After almost 4 months of having my nitrous bottle sitting in my garage, today i decided to put it in my car and empty out the bottle since I only had less than 3lbs of nitrous left. So i put it in the trunk turn it on and test it out, when i squeezed the button i felt it kick in for like a second and after that it just died out, i hardly felt anything. So i try it again and the same thing happens, the nitrous is just not kicking in.... at the same time when i squeeze the button i get this very strong smell of fuel in the car.... i checked all the connections and everything seems tight but the gas smell is just there, i cant seem to find a leak.... what could be the problem?? the last time squeezed the nitrous kicked ***, but now it sucks.. i just want to get it back to normal. I have the Fuel pressure regulator at 42psi, 15 degree timing, 60 shot, dohc ZC. Please help me!!!!

Also check your plugs. I remember when i had juice i didn't use mine for a month or so and when i decided to use it the weather had changed form the last time and my plugs fouled out. that's the first and last time i had a problem with juice. I would use old nitrous that even a month old. Nitrous can stale up.
