Well I have a b18a fully built.
Here is some of the mods.
95 b18b head has a light port and polish
golden eagle godzilla sleeves and honed
crower rods
crower springs and retainers
Je piston 9:1 compression
This set-up ran a 11.89 in a 90 integra running 12 psi with the stock ecu.
But now it's in my 90 civic si hatch and I'm running a haltech fuel management system running 20 psi plus.

IMHO you throw a vtec head, gsr oil pump, new pistons & rods, hondata and injectors and youre in the 12s baby! The vtec head is not necessary but hey an extra 50 flywheel hp sho is nice!

I think u can hit 12's without any of that stuff... Stock block LS turbo on 10psi will do 12's.. just as newsense, he did it on 9

um...an LS motor has 120 hp if im not mistaken. Youre going to have to add a CM 3 or 4 and some slicks to hit 12s...not to mention be a good driver, like me. Hope youre a good driver!

With the setup that I mentioned you're bound to hit 12s in no time, with an average driver and have a rebuilt fresh motor to build on. Sounds more reasonable to me!

and sushibug said bulletproof and 20psi and all that..with a stock LS motor your neither.

huh, U r confusing me.. U told him to put all this stuff on his car to hit 12's.. I was just pointing out that if all u want is 12's, U dont need any of that.. It will only help more.. I ran 13.3 in my full wieght full interior LS integra on street tires at 9psi..

Let me pull out some wieght, run open downpipe and slicks and ill do 12.90..

If 2kteg runs the set up hes talking about building, the car should be good for 11's if he can drive.. and thats without the vtec head mumbo jumbo..

Yeaaaahhhhhh, I can't drive...but I'm working on it. VTEC is just another complication. Turboing a NA car is enough complication for me.

... I used Crower valvetrain and cams (No flames please, Ive read the horror stories already)

This is exactly what I'm about to do for my rebuild. Should I not use Crower? What would you suggest?

QUOTE]Ive purchased sll of these things listed but chose Endyn to do the headwork as well. Unfortunately they dont do LS heads but they made and exception for me. I plan on making well over 400whp with my setup, well thats the goal anyway... I used Crower valvetrain and cams (No flames please, Ive read the horror stories already)So far I've spent 4000 on just the motor and such.... Im assembling it sometime next week and shooting to have it running my late May.[/QUOTE]

I personally have full trust in crower. Ive seen nothing but good results in my area with their products. However make sure you inspect the product before you install it. Example: When I recieved my cams I noticed that the grind of one of the lobes was crooked and looked very bad. I sent them back and received a new set very promptly. I dont doubt that people have had bad results with their products. But I have a close personal friend with an ALL MOTOR civic coupe that used their valve train and cams.... and he runs 12.80's all day with full interior... Never had a problem with them Among the others I've known that have used them.
