Default BOV vacuum

I am going to be getting my turbo this next week and I need some help with the install. Here is the first question. What exactly is a vaccum line? I know it comes of the BOV, but where does it go to? Could somebody please help me out. And I am looking for a website that goes into detail about a turbo installation on a B16. Thanks

most of us use the fpr line. But you can also use the break booster line as long as its before the check valve. Of course you could aways tap new spots in the manifold, but who wants to do that.

Mine is teed into the FMU/fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, and so are my boost controller lines and boost gauge line. This seems to be the most obvious place to me for a vacuum source, but I'm sure there are plenty of other places.

The line from the fpr to the intake manifold seems so short to stick a bunch of tees in. My brake booster line is a lot larger than my fpr line and I am sure the kit comes with only tees for the fpr, where would I find a t that is large enough to fit in the brake booster line, but be small enough to fit the vacuum hose coming from the BOV?

Here's a thought... you could always just put ONE tee into the FPR line, and then add tees onto a new piece of vac. line for additional components.

I would look at an autoparts store.

I have seen numerous posts about the Greddy Type S not opening enough because of the lack of vacuum pressure. Therefore, I would prefer the larger diamater from the brake booster line, if it is in fact a better source for vacuum. So where do you get the proper tees to fit both the BOV hose and the brake booster line?

[EDIT] Thanks Dustin!! [EDIT]

Brake booster hose is the big hose that connects to the brake booster. The brake booster is connected to your master cylinder.
