Default LS guys where........

did you tap in for vac. sources for your fmu, bov, ebc, and boost gauge? i have all of mine coming off the stock fpr from the tb. its been like that for 2 1/2 years and i'm wondering if i should change it and run maybe the bov and ebc off the evap?

i had my ebc off the evap, but the prob w/ that is in the morning it takes a few minutes for the evap to get a vac signal (my blitz dsbc would never display vac reading til the car warmed). and when i tried to boost before the ebc read vac the car bogged. now its off the fpr and i get immediate vac readings.
thats my experience.

I had no trouble with everything tapped off the FPR line, but I feel much better using the brake booster.

Well, the FPR line is a very small vacuum line ... when I had an FMU I felt better providing pressure to the FMU via a line that was guaranteed to have solid pressure

how the heck did you find a tee that was big enough to fit the brake booster and small enough to fit the fmu hose. that's a big reduction.
btw, what is the thing that comes out of the tb and connects to the valve cover? is that a good vac source?

i just looked in my service manual and it looks like it's the iat(intake air temp.) sensor. would that make a good vac source?

thanks
