boosting less than 10psi is useless
a friend of mine told me that boosting less than 10psi is pretty much useless. he said the reason why people use turbo is to use the boost that can only be obtained from higher psi. i know he's full of sh*t, but what do you guys think? i'm planning on boosting my '90 LS and keeping the psi at around 7 or 8 which i heard will give me about a 75hp increase. to me, that's all i really want right now because i don't race much anyways but would like an increase in power for when i do.
also, does anyone how how hard it would be to install a turbo system on a g2 integ? i'm on a budget and am looking to do a custom setup.

Re: boosting less than 10psi is useless (SuperDragII)
hey,
i have a custom seeup in my g2, and its way tight.....i have a tubular sfp manny, and had a t3t4, but it wouldnt fit unless i grinded the block or got a new manny.....so i opted, well had no choice, to go with a t3 super 60....it spools quicker, 2500 rpm, and fits perfectly.......we are still working out quirks, but when doneshould haul *** looking for like 240-260 wheel power.....custom setup, spearco cooler,2.5 downpipe to 3" full exhaust, no cat.....boostin hopefully 6-10psi......we will see....good luck with ur custom setup.....i should have some pix up soon..........

time for you to make new friends...for real, does he drive a boosted moded car? If not, tell him to go **** himself. Don't put opionions of something and state it as fact. It's just his opinion, no matter how wrong he is... But for real, what a dork.
