Boosted y7 W/Mitsu or Suby Turbo
Hey guys, I want a DIY boost setup. I am looking for the best (easiest) way to go, without breaking the bank.
What all would I need for it to work? And Which (junkyard) setup would be the best to use? I've heard suby, mitsu, and volvo?
Another thing is the manifold---It would have to be from a civic right, then modified?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Its not as easy as it seems at first when you start. There is a lot of hidden expenses you realized half way through. I have been building my kit for 8 months now, and have had the turbo in the car for 3 weeks but im still not boosting because i havent had a chance to go build some charge piping.
Any small turbo will do good if you plan to run a small about of boost, lets say 6 to 8 psi. The manifold will have to be custom made or bought of someone and then modified, DP will probably have to be made also.
And i highly recomend runing an intercooler, the turbo will do so much better with it. I speak out of own experience.
You will also have to check which fuel managment you are going to be using. Blue box from greddy is a simple solution which works but is untunable. Maybe uberdata would suit your needs. But if you want make the extra expense and get a hondata s200b and get it tuned well and you might get away with pushing a few more psi depending on the condition of your engine.
