Default boost vs boost

I have 2 options sitting in my lap. I know this guys who is trying to sell me a Jackson Racing supercharger. It's new, in the box, and comes with the Jackson Racing boost dependent regulator, gauges, big boost pulley, map sensor stuff, and all of the other goodies. I saw it last night and he wants to sell it to me for $1000. The other option is a brand new T3/T4 turbo (A/R 48 to 60), charge piping, equal length manifold, greddy intercooler, apexi BOV, downpipe, boost dependent regulator, Tial wastegate, etc. for 950. Which is better? How much gain would the supercharger give vs the turbo at 7psi? Which is more reliable? Any info would be useful. I currently have a 95 eg with the cx mated up to a d16y7. I also have the y8 head in the corner of a shop.

I just met the guy with the supercharger 3 weeks ago and he told me that he had a JR SC and I said bullsh*t. He showed me it last night. All for a g. The guy with the turbo and stuff used to be my brother's boss. He also has the AEM EMS new in the box and said that he'd let it go to me for $600 with the uego and controller. None of it has been used.

Sounds like stolen stuff to me, if he's willing to sell something for 600 bucks that was 2000 brand new, when he could put it on ebay with a 1000 dollar buy it now and have it gone in one day.

If its true that you can get both these deal, buy both and resell them. With the profit you make off these things you could go ahead and piece together a better system. Thats what i would do.
