boost internals???
not trying to go all out but was wanting about 400whp at least and wanted some input from you turbo guys. would a stock head make that much power on good turbo setup? was thinking oem gsr pistons/rods, or should i use something better? if it would make that much power my setup would be a rebuilt oem gsr block with a stock b16 head.

Re: boost internals???
internals not needed do a leak down test as well as a compression check if it reads good then boost
im sure the guy above me has been told by his cousin that new a guy that had a brother that boosted a stock engine without being properly tuned, and blew it up lol
nah man check the engine if its good, and you got a great tuner your good to go homie

Re: boost internals???
was thinkin a .57 trim or a sc61 for turbo setup. jus didnt know if the stock piston/rod combo would be too much compression for 400whp with a b16 head

Re: boost internals???
nope low compression is also a myth that has ran its time most people are 10:1 or even more on boost now a days
lower compression is better for pump gas most on e85 are right where i listed even seen 11:??
i have a stock gsr block ran it at 26psi on a stock head and made 500 on it pretty easily, but e85 os the **** lol
