im planning on boosting my car...with a turbo...i want to know what is the maximum amount of boost you can put on a stock internal GSR engine...longevity is not an issue...the only thing i worry about is the aluminum block and the rings...also can anyone name off all the parts and send me reccomendations on all the parts i need?

From what I have seen, stock internals have been capable of handling around 350whp.

A large turbo will require less psi to achieve the same power as a smaller turbo with more psi.

Make sure your motor is in good condition. Start off with a compression and leak down test.

make sure your fuel is good and you get a really good tune and ive seen a gsr put 318 to the wheels on 12 pounds stock internals

 

see sig. 8.5 PSI stock internals, good tune. 340 whp.

edit: cobra/evo/STI/GT/G35/350z/s2000/ss camaro/LS1/454/502 eater. lol. the only close race was the STI.... but it was hooked up pretty nicely. im tellin you, ya cant expletive with a turbo vtec motor done up right.
