Default boost gauge question.

hello everybody

i got a racetech boost gauge and i think it is broken.


when i suck with my mouth from the vacuum tube the needle goes down to vac but when i hold the air the needle goes up back to 0.

is it suppose to be like that?

yeah thats normal. If you think about it, when you are holding the air there is not going to be any vaccum.

I don't know for sure, I've never tried to do what you have described, but it makes sense to me.

Why do you think its broken? You could always hook it up to your car and find out.

Just take of your fpr vac line and hook it up to the boost gauge. Turn on your car and it should read around 20 inches of mercury
