Block Guard vs Sleeves
i have a b18c engine im boosting 18-22 psi(400+-whp) whit a race engenering block guard no prob yet
being 1 years(15k milles) of boosting like hell whit no prob
inlipro is pushing 600 whp in there b18c engine whit stock sleeves no block guard
i know a friend whit a b16a engine pushing near 400whp !! whit no block guard just stock sleeve
i think that tuning is way more important then blockguard

[QUOTE]I don't know about you guys saying blockguards are good for low boost. I've pushed 1.6 bar on my old D16Y8 with stock sleeves and blockguard for 2 weeks straight before i blew up a piston. Opened the engine up, sleeves were still fine, just replaced that one piston, and I was back on the road again. Is that low boost?
