Blew something tonight finally...
i was racing my friends 00 prelude sh with i/h/e and all of a sudden my engine just went pooooshhhhhhhh.. and i saw white smoking coming outta the wastegate area.. everythign still drives normal so far.. i gotta pop the hood tomorrow and do a check in daylight.. so far i think its the wastegate gasket.. does that sound normal to u guys? that procedure to blowing a wastegate gasket
if your wastegate gasket is blown, you should hear the exhaust exiting at idle and when driving around off boost. If the smoke is coming out of a breather hose, or what holds your oil dipstick....the outcome won't be fun.
That happened to me when my wastegate blew hella hot air and blew a hole in my upper radiator hose, tons of white smoke.
Or maybe it just blew up a hole by itself

it has been confirmedd its the upper A/C hose thats infront of the wastegate... now how do i come to repairing it? just buy another hose ... do i have recharge my whole a/c system again? how long can i drive around with it like this...

You should be able to just replace the hose if it's the low pressure a/c line......recharging it will be like $70, but you can drive as long as you want, nothing is in danger.....if you're in a wet climate and drive around a long time with a hole in your a/c system, the evap canistor will get all soaked and you'll need to replace it....
