Default blown wastegate gasket cause of loss in b00st?

ok, I just ordered my 38mm Tial wastegate with the .6 bar (8.7 psi) spring. I had a Tial "style" from e-bay and was running 9 psi with it until it **** the bed. So i got the new one.

I installed it yesterday and went for a trip around the block and it will not b00st above 6~7 psi! WTF?! So i come back home and take the wastegate off the elbow and find that my wastegate gasket was leaking from the elbow off the mani to the wastegate. The vacuum line going to the side of the wastegate is connected to the nipple off the compressor housings of the turbo ( is this ok??) and the one on top is open. So.....

would the leaking gasket cause the drop in b00st?

Also i have checked all connections on my charge pipes and evrything is ok.

I dont know why im loseing b00st!

If it leaks enough gas, the turbo wont spool or takes forever to spool. Just remove the gasket and dont use any. It will seal up.
