Re: Best place to tap for vac source (swlabhot)
I'm getting irregular boost patterns, as in sometimes I get a lot more power and torque and other times not much at all. I can't seem to pinpoint when it occurs, one day it would run sweet and the next day not so good so I'm starting to troubleshoot at the wastegate before I go too deep.
At the moment I have everything tapped into the fpr (bov, boost gauge, wastegate), so I'm trying to experiment with different sources to see if its the wastegate playin games

To the top.....I was wondering the same thing. I have my intake mani tapped and fitted with NPT barbed fittings. All three sources come from the mani. Should I see any probems with this??? I've heard boost spiking issues but am still unclear. Can anyone clear this up for us??? Thanks,

try your brake booster for your wastegate or you could try the compressor. if your compressor doesnt have one, i have heard of putting a tube in your charge pipe as a vacuum source.
