vacuum source
i am finishing up my build and need to run all my vacuum lines for my boost components.
I have a vacuum block installed, but instead of splicing into the brake booster line, I used an extra port on the S2 manifold. (this is still ok right?)
is it ok to hook my BOV, wastegate (through a manual boost controller), boost gauge and other decives to this vacuum manifold, even though this vacuum/boost source is after the throttle body plate?
some of the diagrams I have seen have the wastegate hooked to a fitting on the compressor housing of the turbo, my turbo doesn't have one of those.

Re: vacuum source
tial recomends hooking your wastegate up pre-throttle body so no vac is put on the diaphragm and only see's boost. assuming you have a tial.everything else is ok.

Re: vacuum source
i do have a tial. (38mm)
so i guess the next step is removing the compressor housing and tapping in a fitting for the wastegate?
is there a special type of fitting (size?) that I should look for?

Re: vacuum source
i am trying to find something I saw,
it was a nipple that was placed in the silicone adapter where the housing connects to the intercooler piping. what might be a good fix.
anyone know what I am talking about?

this is what I am talking about.
if it doesn't really matter then cool, but if its safer this way I'll pick one up and install it.
