B20B and Uberdata Tuning Questions...
Alright guys (b20 turbo guys) I have a few questions regarding B20's and boost and keeping it safe.
I plan on retarding it 1 degree per lb, now should this be fine with stock timing?
Since it will be tuned with uberdata we are going to get it into the low/mid 12 afr ranges. Im sure this will be fine but I want to hear peoples stories.
Im only going to be running 5-6 PSI on a t3t4. If it makes it better I live in FL so I can get 93 octane at almost any station.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

1 degree per lb is very conservative, but ok I guess. For less then 10psi you can do .9 and still be conservative on the tune. I would shoot in the higher 11's for AFR. Why try to squeeze out 5-6 WHP when you can just turn up a little more boost say (1PSI) and run it in a much safer 11.2-11.7 AFR. Many tuners I speak with say this is the smarter way to go. Since your running uberdata you can do more then 5-6 PSI and be perfectly safe. You seem to be ok on timing and as long as the AFR's stay in the range like I said, and you could run 7-8 safely, maybe even more.

personally i would do like .9 per pound and go a little richer, shooting for like 11.7-12.0:1 a/f. whenever i try and tune for boost with uberdata, i go for about 11.8 or so.
I ran 8-10psi on my b20 for a long time on just a FMU setup. and before that i sprayed a 85jet and 100jet of nitrous like candy for years. You should be pleny fine w/ uberdata and 7psi. Good Luck
