b20 vtec turbo
I currently have a b20z vtec in my eg hatch with 75 shot of nitrous. running mid to high 12s... i want to go to a 57 trim t3/t4 with .63ar... garrett turbo...spoolin perfomance manifold (log) tial bov and wastegate intercooler for 550hp i believe 720 injectors... im using gsr head on my car and i was wondring what kind of power i can make with this set up on pumpgas with a good tune... im told 300 hp is easy to hit with about 8.5 to 10 pounds of boost... i want to make around 350 whp.... i will be putting arp rod bolts by the way... this should be ok on stock sleeves Yes or NO.... just wondering b/c ive seen aftermarket pistons and rods in b20s make like 450whp on stock sleeves... and their other week point is rod bolts... so im replacing them... And with 300 350 hp should i be faster than what im running now .....btw times were on street tires....But what could 300-350 be capable of on track.... THanks alot

This is my personal opinion on boosted b20's. If you keep stock sleeves get pistons n rods I wouldnt push it over 350whp. Im sure it could take more but your on thin ice for problems that will be devistating. I just dont trust a stock block b20 too be reliable with more than that. Tuning is key without an excellent dead on tune you might as well buy another block.
