Well I ordered a purge kit, solid state relay for the purge kit and connectors. Still waiting for the main kit to come in.

Did they send some Foster's as well?! I'm sure it's better from there as is Guiness from Ireland. I got to drink some draft Guiness at the Dublin airport many years back and wow, so much better than here in the states.

Yeah, really rough here. It was smooth, malty, dark.. What it should be. Congrats on the ignition also, by the way. I got on a beer tangent for a sec. Lol!

LOL, working on the race car is especially nice when work stress comes into play.

Today I was able to drill out the Nitrous nozzles holes in the manifold 1/4 inch. I also ordered the 1 1/16 NPT thread tap along with the 3/16 tube bender. On Friday I’m going to try and get the solenoid brackets finished and welded on.

1/16 NPT is an uncommon size - we use it on a few things here at work, yet we never seem to have any fittings in stock. Go figure.

Calling around it seems to be the common size for multiple Nitrous Nozzle sizes. It would be nice if they added it to the kit as a tool or something.

Big Name Nitrous kits used to come with the 1/16 NPT tap included. It is a shame that this isn't still the case.

I see that you're using a locash racing coolant pressure sensor - what psi range is that sensor? I'm adding a coolant pressure sensor but can't find much on what sensor to use. I have 0-100 psi sensors for fuel pressure and oil pressure but imagine a smaller range would be ideal for coolant pressure.

I'm pretty sure its the same as the others 0-100psi.

Update LOL: The block is apart, the block was redecked just to make sure there were no issues since my headgasket seemed to keep failing. I ordered a True GE 84mm bore Honda Gasket and we tested the fitment which is 10x better than the JE Proseal Crap.
The JE Pro Seal 84mm gasket is undersized so the gasket hangs over the bore, they make no 84.5 so you have to jump to an 85mm gasket. Shouldn't have to use an 85mm gasket on an 84mm bore because you can't make the gasket right. also the dowels pins barely line up with that gasket as well.
  • Ordered some new King Bearings that are already drilled for aluminum rods and supposedly have a new special coating LOL
  • Had my up pipe and manifold re-coated and got those back.
  • Received my new M&W Pro-Drag4 box.
  • The head needs to be resurfaced since the head gasket kind of gauged it.
  • Nitrous is all plumed just need it to be wired but I can't do so until my motor is in the car.
  • My valve cover is currently in Michigan getting some airbrushing done by my brother at bestbuiltcustoms, hopefully he has time LOL
  • I've installed the new Pro Level Diff
  • Once the motor is in the car I can finish making the new blow off valve lines, the fuel lines for the nitrous, the overflow lines. I can finish building the radiator lines and the nitrous wiring can get completed and hopefully get tuned.
