anyone using a drag2 kit on a 97+ prelude?
Could you tell me how your setup is going? What kinda #'s are you putting down at what psi? I can't seem to make good gains even when i raise the boost.

224@6psi
If we know what you got maybe we can help tell you what parts you need to upgrade or replace to make more power.

basic drag2 kit, aem ems, 550cc injectors, and tial wastegate. Thats mostly it
-3" exhaust system, from where the DP curves around the bottom all the way to the exhaust tip.
I plan on getting a 2.5" DP that flares to 3" once it's rounded the bottom of the engine. Then I'll also have a 3" flex-section, 3" cat, and 3" SS catback with an 80mm Apexi N1 muffler.
-would you happen to know what compressor trim or turbine A/R you have?
-have you tried raising the boost to 7 or 8 PSI? You may have seen Quualude's dynos, where he dynoed at almost 260 WHP with an AEM EMS and I think a T04E 60 and .63 a/r stage III turbine.

-wg dumps into the atmosphere.
-the dp is what came with the kit, but it turns in to 3" all the way back once it clears the oil pan.
-The turbo is what came with the kit. I think it is a t3/t40b with a 0.63 a/r not positive tho
-I ran it on the dyno at 8psi but only made 228

see what everyone ele has to say about your turbo trim though.

are you running a drag2 kit?
i don't understand how it is the turbo's fault. I don't know a lot about compressor maps and efficiency but I don't how 8psi is going to be out of the turbo's efficiency range.

appearently no one's running a drag2 kit on the same car
well it doesn't necessarily have to be a Drag 2...just try comparing someone with the same turbo specs. Also try to research the Drag 2 manifold, maybe it's more restrictive than the other manifolds.

You should be putting out way more then 228@6psi. A buddy of mine has essentially the drag gen 2 on his h23a with a rev hard manifold/downpipe and he is putting out 250whp @7psi. The t04b with a .63 ar should be capable of putting out well over 300whp, i think your problem lies in your dyno tuning. can you post a picture of your dyno chart and a/f ratio?
