Default Necessity of the following gauges?

What I plan to purchase:

1. Mechanical Boost
2. Electronic Oil Pressure
3. Electronic EGT

Can't decide if I need the following:

1. Fuel Pressure (currently have a manual on top of fuel filter)
2. Electronic Oil Temp - I'd think oil pressure is more important out of the 2, but what good will oil temp do?

Thanks

First off I would get all electronic gauges. Second the boost, egt, oil press are very important, I would get a temp gauge over the other ones listed. Turbo cars tend to get a little hot if you know what I mean.

Wouldn't mechanical boost gauge be more accurate than electronic? Mechanical boost gauge (max 5psi) isn't as bad as oil pressure?

Also, some turbo times (for example blitz) offer boost reading - would that be as accurate?

While we are on the subject. My set-up is an sohc 1.5 with a greddy kit...not yet installed, still trying to figure out the final details. For sure I am going mech boost,
most likely a/f gauge. Read a few things on the egt gauges but thought that on my
current set-up was a little overboard. Also my kit didn't come with injectors so at stock boost (5.5) I should be O.K. no? In addition I will be running a 6a MSD, test pipe and 2.5 inch exhaust. Thanks for any info.

Although a bit more cumbersome to install, I'd go with a mechanical Oil Pressure gauge rather than an electronic. Just my .o2

http://www.theoldone.com/articles/oilpressure/ - this is the link I used to install mine.

Good luck

thanks..

what about fuel pressure and oil temp? - can someone think of more reasons to have these? (I already have mechanical fuel pressure on top of fuel filter)

I wouldn't get a mechanical oil pressure gauge...why run more oil lines (ESPECIALLY into the cabin) than you have to, it's just asking for trouble. I would, however, go with the mechanical boost gauge because it should be more accurate and will be MUCH cheaper than the electronic. The worst that could happen if it fails is that you have a vac./boost leak. I wouldn't really waste my money on the fuel pressure unless I was using an FMU (which is a waste of money, anyway) though, the oil temp would be good if you are itching to get another gauge
