I'm boosted and tuned, finally......
My previous setup on a '91 b18a motor (don't ask):
---aem cai
---60mm exhaust
---everything else stock
= 118 hp, 118 lb/ft. torque
My new setup:
---Maxrev kit
---t3/t04e, 57 trim, 63 a/r
---Tial 35mm wastegate set at 6.5 psi
---440 cc injectors
---Hondata s200
---walbro 255lph
---same 60 mm exhaust
---"higher flowing" cat
= 192 hp, 173 lb/ft. of torque
Props to....
Ralphy at DRT in Queens, NY for tuning (cool guys), Tcoupe351 (honda-tech member) for helping me put the kit in (correction, he put a lot of the kit in ), and of course, honda-tech.
I've got a couple more little quirks to work out, but she drives like stock off boost. I'll probably be hounding the board with more questions.

cool, same setup as me basically. how much of a bitch was the piping for you i wanted to end myself when I was doing it.
i've boosted up to 10 on the hondata's basemap and ran into no problems, although I did have 5 gallons of 100 mixed in w/ the 93...it feels so much nicer than 6.5

The piping was....I don't even want to think about it! I wanted to shoot myself during the install. I decided to use the AEM cold air as the piping going to the throttle body. I had the alumninum flange for the maxrev BOV so we welded it to the CAI. It's a little ghetto, but the project still needs a few tweaks. I was thinking of relocating the battery, but I've heard that e-town might not let me run because of the NHRA rule. I'm also thinking of buying the Drag chrome piping.

i had no problems with my piping. all i needed was an extra 45 bend. i even kept my bumper support, i just had to cut th length of the FMIC and an inch into it.
really good numbers by the way..........cant wait till friday to see wat i put down with my SOHC.

Why are you only running 6.5 psi??? You do know you can run more boost and still be very safe.
Turn the boost up to 9psi, retune your car, and go have some fun.

As a matter of fact Ralphy suggested going 9 lbs. as well. I will soon, I just have to fix a couple of things: oil drain fitting has a small leak, replace the fan with the slim fan I bought so I can get rid of my ghetto dryer hose charge pipe and save up some more loot for a retune.

nice...when did you go there? i was there almost all week last week (and the week before) and i didn't see you See the black teg w/ no lights/bumper?
Anyway, that was some good numbers. Ralphy does know what he's doing when it comes to tuning. People are getting great results after he puts his hands on (heck, i made 270/230torque @ around 9.5+/- psi before I blew my headgasket). :0
props to you!

Tcoupe351 and I were there on Saturday. We were looking at your car to see how your tubing was configured.

ur not gonna have a prob, i've been to 11 psi on the hondata basemap w/o any problems...
hey how did that drier hose work for ya? I was goingt to use it as piping for the turbo but i was afraid that it'd just implode on me....no problems like that?

That's what I was thinking too. The dryer hose is kind of flimsy, but on the dyno I ran without a filter. I haven't been able to step on yet. There was a lot of traffic on the way to work today and saturday and sunday was rained out .
