Default AFI manifolds

Is these manifolds good as in qualtiy ? Any problems ever ?

I have one of there ramhorn mani. I know i am not going to have any problems out of it. good quality. good craftsmanship and quality materials.

What if you have one that is all messed such wastegate area to close to manifold and to close to other wastegate.

The one i've seen had good welds - on the outside. They didn't backpurge that mani, and owner was told they don't do it on their 'production manifolds'. The result is a less than perfect weld in terms of strength, and a whole lot of 'burnt sugar' inside that can let loose and damage your turbine.

It did however make &gt;340whp on a pumpgas D16 and hasn't shown signs of cracking...
