1 bar is 14.7 not 14,the a/f had alot to do
with it.but over all it just sounds like the motor
wanted to go to MOTOR HEAVEN.

Damn I'd get another tuner like St00pid in houston. Even up here we hear bad things about car boy.

carboy knows what they are doing, i blew my motor, but they are fixing my car for cheap, it's the concept of good business. they are a good shop, and it's closer to me, they know how to tune, and for other tuners, im not saying they can't tune better, it's just i dont have access to them whenever i need them.

im just doing what's in my best interest.

I dont think the HP or the boost it was running at was the deciding factor in the motor letting go....Nor was the A/F ratio lean enough to blow a motor....I have run more boost and made more HP and I too have a stock motor....i just think its was its time to go....
Its nice to hear that Carboy is helping you out with what they can....Good luck...

The only way you get damage like that is detonation. Too much boost, low octane not enough fuel and probably a little too advanced in the ignition dept .

When i shot a rod through my b20 block, we used it as an Ashtray and cup holder in the garage

good luck with your rebuild Plans? specs? Are you just dropping in another stock block?
