**EDIT** PICS Greddy turbo kit: block build up *need ideas*
Goal: 300-350 whp
History: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=709994
Questions:
I bought a used b18c1 block w/ crank. I want to sleeve it. I figure 9:1 c/r is good, but what about boring? I see people boring out 2-3 mm over. Does this cost extra? What piston rod combo would work best?
Brainstorm:
CP pistons 9:1 c/r (would u stick with 81.5mm?)
eagle H beam rods
GE sleeved block
_______________
let me know if i missed anything thanks

there is no reason to sleeve for a greddy kit man....
and you're not going to hit 350 whp off it either, especially with the compression drop

I am going to sleeve my block because i plan on getting a new manifold/turbo in the future. I figure since my block is already torn down, i would just take the extra step to do this.

sounds like a set up somewhat like the one I will be using. only I am goin to 83mm to get it to almost a 2.0
as for the guy who said you don't need a built motor for greddy kits. you need to research turbos a bit. the td05H-18g is good for 400hp. on top of that the greddy mani uses DSM flanges so you could run a say FP green or Red. also if you want to go precision you could run a SCE series turbo.

I just got back from the shop and have a dozen pics of the damage to be posted. I just need to find my usp cord to upload... let me say this, the piston and rod are in about 10,000 little scraps of metal and the the largest hole in the block is about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. ill post pics tonight.

I'd be interested in seeing a dyno of that 18G Greddy throws in their Honda kits making 400hp... I'm not sayin it can't happen, just wanna see you prove me wrong, that would be pretty cool if someone did achieve that with a Greddy honda kit spec 18G with the Greddy kit.

I havent seen the dyno but the guys at dynamic autosports told me they had a car dyno at 375 whp with a greddy kit.

Re: (BoostedITR41)
I think that 300-350 is very feasable with the GReddy kit and a BUILT GSR engine. It'll be alittle bit easier to make your power you want with a safe 83mm bore and 9.8 : 1 CP/ Arias / Ross pistons.

LOL.....
I hope to make 350-375whp with the 18G on my ITR block so that will be over 400 crank easy. I am using GE 83mm sleeves, CP pistons in the low 9:1 range and eagle rods, wait your right they break at 200whp. lol

Re: (boostin lude)
DAYAm! Did you buy the block like that or did it blow when you were using it.
What happed with the block. As people have said looks like Saddam let loose in that one!
I didn't know you could build up blocks with such big gapping holes in them
