k, i finished my intsall yesterday.. drove around for a lil bit then.. i turned on the AC and notice that its not getting colder... what could this be? could this be because my ECU is throwing a code? thanks.. oh yeah the car pulls really nice

check to make sure all your wires are plugged back in...

my ac compressor cable wasnt plugged in after they did my turbo.

the wire harness is right near the drivers side headlight infront of the turbo....

Is the compressor turning on when you turn on the A/C fan, or is just the fan coming on with no compressor engagement??

If the freon is low the compressor may not come on.

I assume it was working fine prior to turbo install? Is the green light coming on at the dash when you turn the a/c on?

i hear something turning when i turn on the AC but cant tell a difference when iwas looking at it and had a friend turned it on for me.... whats the compressor look like anyways and where is it located? im not sure if i was looking at the right stuff... and yes the green light lit up when i turned it on... hhhm... i get air but ndont get colder.. hmmmmm... this sucks...

what kind of engine??

ALso, im sure you've checked, but the air temp lever is turned all the way to cold (left) ??

I hope you didn't crush the AC line while bending bending it to make room for internal wastegate. If you have the intercooler, you also had to bend another AC cooler line infront of the radiator. Check 'em and make sure they aren't crimped. I'm thinking this was on a B18C motor..

Facing the engine from the front bumper, the compressor is on the front/right side towards the bottom (drivers side-look for the belt/pulley) it should cycle on/off when you turn on the A/C, you'll hear it click when it engages, the pulley starts to spin, and you rpms generally drop slightly (at least initially)

If you pushed the A/C lines around turing install, or especially if you bent them, theres a good chance of a hairline crack or brake in the pipe/fittings. If that happened your freon has leaked out and the compressor will not come on, which is a protection device to prevent it from overheating and seizing.

Check your AC lines under the pipe going to the throttle body...make sure it's not resting on them...happened to me luckily I caught it before any major damage...I have the same set up you do. . .

k i found out that my air condeser fuse relay burns out everytime i start the ignition... i need to look tomorrow to make sure that some wire is not just lyin around... anybody else know how to fix this? thanks

Check all the wires and make sure their not showing exposed wire somewhere, sounds like a short to me...somewhere theres wire on wire contact...check all the areas real good where there could have been wires crushed or broken that have to do with the a/c...

If the wires were removed form the A/C housing during install they may have been put back on wrong...make sure you check that.

Also, did you do any other wiring for gauges or anything else with the turbo setup??
