Went to the track sunday I ran some shitty times for my setup.

94 ls built engine 16psi on street tires and i only got a 13.4 at 109 with alot of wheel spin. What do guys think of those times. What do u think its capable of.

 

damn ur running 16psi? what turbo do u have?
how much hp? and whats your suspension and wheel setup?

your times looks alright, ur trap speed is high, but your time can be lower
how was your 60'? psi tires?

 

Best 60' was a 2.1 tire pressure was at 14psi

 

obviously traction is your problem. If you had slicks or maybe even drag radials, you'd be in twelves easy

 

thats kinda slow for a ls turbo on 16 psi i think... but likeyousaid you got lots of wheel spin.. that suck.. i think you are capable of running 12s.... unless something wrong with the turbo or leaks on the piping... late

 

Like i said i had wheel spin 1st,2nd,3rd all three gears before she would hook up

slicks next time low 12's high 11's

 

109 traps is definitly good for 12's.. What turbo kit u running? if its drag3 i would be expecting closer to 112mph in the 1/4

 

I'm not sure if wheel spin was really that much of a factor.. unless the tires were just busting loose like crazy in 2nd and 3rd gears. Your 2.1 60' is great for street tires. Maybe you should shift at a lower rpm for 2nd and 3rd
