Default Are 750cc RC Injectors good enough for 400 whp using a gt35r turbo?

Just as the title says: Are 750cc RC Injectors good enough for 400 whp using a gt35r turbo?

I have a little project going on and was just wondering. According to the RC webpage i should be running 920cc aka 1000cc injectors. Im going to be fully building the motor and will be capable of 500 whp easily but for the most part it will be driven/tuned at 400 whp. Any inputs would greatly be appreciated.

750cc will be fine. goof for high 400's - low 500whp

It all depends. 425whp b20vtec w/ t3/t04E 57trim w/ 750cc.... duty cylcle was @ 98%

22psi.

408 @ 18 PSI from a GT3071R was 85% for my 750's.

435 @ 20 psi 750cc's at 80% on aem. with 50 base pressure with a a1000 pump

There are alot of factors that come into play when your talking abotu what kinda whp numbers you can produce on what siez injector. What size lines ur running, what fuel pump, what regulator is teh easy stuff.

Then you have things like BSFC = brake specific fuel consumption. this is the amount of fuel your engine needs to create the HP. if you have a lower BSFC then your going to get more out of the injectors. if the numebrs are higher then obviously less power out of an injector.

you also have injector drivers or your standard resistor pack. By running a real peak&hold injector driver you have better control of the injector and will be able to produce more hp then if you ran a resistor pack.

also depends on what engine managment system your running. they all read differently. Say 400hp on AEM is readin 80% duty cycle well on hondata it could read 86% duty cycle. The numbers are just figures not actual differences but you get my point.

Simply put the 750's are plenty injector for mid 450-500. id personally say 550 is pushign it. your goingto need a high base pressure and then you start running into pump issues

Im building the motor for capable of 600+ although it will be driven 98% at 400 whp or less with sometimes around 500 whp for fun. I will be using Hondata s300. Just started my project a week ago. Learning experience as I will do as much of it myself as i can.

Have you bought the 750's yet? If not save yourself some uncertainty/possible dissapointment and go with 1000's, especially if you are using a turbo capable of much more. You will most likely approach or even surpass the limits of 750's with pump gas on a 35r.

Also, fyi: the saturated rc750's shouldnt be ran at over 43psi base pressure, so if you plan on 450-500whp on 750's make sure you get peak and hold ones.

be safe and good luck!

Bought the 750c new from a friend. I'm stuck with them. Guess I could throw them on EBay and buy the 1000cc.

The only thing I dont like is that big injector like 1000cc would be much harder to have a nice smooth idle as the injectors would (drip) trying create a good mist of fuel at idle

I strongly dissagree. You shouldnt have any issues at all with idle o 1000's. Only problem ive had with mine is starting. Once ive run my car and let it sit for a while and it heat soakes i have to tape the throttle when starting it. I know i can correct it within my engine managment i just been to lazy to do so
