wastegate question
I'm thinking about buying a wastegate from this guy and he said it extends fully at 12 psi. Does this mean i will not be able to run 6-7 psi using this wastegate?
Will someone please inform me on how to test a wastegate? I did a search and found nothing.

*Available spring pressure: .3Bar (4.35psi), .45Bar (6.53 psi), .65Bar (9.43 psi), .8Bar (11.60 psi)
*High Pressure Spring Pressures available .95Bar 13.78 psi), 1.1Bar (15.95 psi), 1.35Bar (19.58 psi), 1.5Bar (21.75 psi)
This refers to Tial Wastegates- I bought the .8 Bar one does that mean I won't be able to boost below 11.6 PSI? I thought it meant it only went up to 11.6 PSI??

sping pressure rating = MINUMUM boost pressure....I was supprised by this too...kinda sux doesn't it?
Another misconception is that you can lower the boost pressure with a boost controller...when in fact you can't...really bites!
what would really be nice to have is some kind of universal WG with variable spring rates that allow you to adjust the static pressure of the spring....I guess that there's no such animal
