what kind of ems and boost control are u running? do u want to set up gear based boost? for example if u run a 15 psi spring, then the least boost u will get in first gear is 15 psi so it really depends on your setup.

You shouldn't run more than double the spring rate. I would just get a 13-15lbs spring.

you can thats not right, many people run more than triple, it also allows you to more widely adjust boost

ive heard this before also!
but id like to know why this is true does it ruin the spring?
ie. making the spring see boost that it would normally never see?

well the 2 times the springs rate is false, it wont hurt the spring, i've ran 28psi on a 7.5 psi spring
