as long as you get the base tune for beyond 2bar (boost) operation, you should be okay...otherwise you will have to the maps after 1 bar (boost) tuned

no, you will have to get new maps writen, or you can send some one your egsiting map, and have them turn on the 3 bar option. trust me, i know.

how long does it take to 'turn on' the 3 bar option? something i can do real quick?

this is the sitution.
im getting base maps tommorow without 3 bar
i get my 3 bar next week(ordered today)

i have a tuning appointment in 2 weeks.

should i just:
1) install 3bar, get new maps, then go to dyno or
2) install 3 bar and go straight to dyno?

(im assuming option 1 is better b/c the tuner wont have to spend more time fixing my maps---but im not sure so let me kknow)

you cant run on a 3 bar with out having it setup in hondata. your car will run like crap. the voltage is about half of what a stock map is.

you need to have a rom burnt with a 3 bar setting. or drive with stock map to the dyno and hook up your 3 bar there. should only take 5 min to install.

you can have him burn you the chip without it in. that's fine.

its just a setting in the software.
