Default Guys, I'm getting discouraged!

I have almost everything to finish my turbo project. I think I want to give up. Just go allmotor. My buget seems to be running to low and I can't complete it and I'm getting impatient. Do you guys think I should hold out or sell my **** and go all motor?

I know this question is kind of bias for this forum, but Oh well. Also I don't feel like dealing with all the damn problems.......the little ****. My buddy had spent more money on his car than what the car is worth it seems like........just rambling. tell me what you think.

Thanks family

EDIT:......hahaha I made it. 2 months later.

I'm trying, it was a corvette on the highway and he kept F****** with me and he got pissed becuase he thought i got to close to his car. So every time i try to pass him he would speed up and get in front of me...........for 5 mins.. That pissed me off becuase my car wasn't fast enough to get around him .
Finnaly we ran into traffic and i caught a break, then he just left me like i went in reverse on the highway. Pretty damn irritaing not being able to get around a person becuase their car is not faster. With boost......no problem.

dont give up on FI. Thats wussy stuff

Look at me, my car has been down for 3 months.

Gone through 2 motors, and this last motor just got screwed just because of a timing belt tensioner. I can write a book on the drama I have been through with this car. Serisouly.

Just hang in there. All motor aint worth it IMO.

turbo and wastegate. I'm just tired of waiting. I need prayer for patients.

You guys probably would not believe this........but i told my church to pray for me and My turbo project. Never thought it would go that far as for asking for prayer

lol you want to give up cuz you have to wait for the turbo and wastegate? man, please, just wait it out.

There is no such thing as a smooth motor swap, or transition from NA to turbo. If you had a turbo before or have experienced it, I dont see how you can give it up. Its so worth it in the end.

If you did not run into any problems and it went smooth as the babys butt in your avatar, dont you think all hondas on the road would have turbos and pimp cars like us? YES. And what would the fun in that be? We stand out in the honda community. No Fast and Furious here.

It takes ***** for this FI stuff. If you just give up, and go with the stock honda crowd, your ***** will turn into raisins! You have already started, and if you give up, and look back in the future, getting stomped on by Neon SRT's and PT Cruiser Turbos, you will kick your own *** and your economy stock car will hate you for the humiliation. Dont let the big guys and the homo cars pick on you, or you will stay in the "Slow Honda" classification. Plus girls love turbo!!!!!!!

All the fast people in this forum had persistance and didnt let little **** like that get them down.

Cliff Notes: Dont give up

haha all motor will be more frustrating. Spending the same amount of money as FI, and still getting beat. That has to suck!

dont give up !!!

i have been waiting a long time to finish my project . i always feel like giving it up , but just like what happened to you..there is always somebody messin with you on the freeway . just stay with it . i have spent this past year buildin up a 98 integra and its finally almost out of the bodyshop . when i get it back.....in goes the fully built motor , break in the motor , and then on goes the turbo kit . it will be worth the wait .

you won't have problems if you do it right and take care of your ****. If you know nothing about cars it may get a bit frustrating not being able to diagnose small quirks.

Don't worry, and just hang in there. Boost is so worth it. Even tho my car is not running now, its my fault for skimping on some stuff. So do it right the first time, even tho it takes a while, and trust me, there are no regrets.

Listen to him.

Turbo Honda is SOOOO worth it. You will eat NA cars left and right...unless they are a REALLY nice setup.

I sold my turbo car last fall and I'm still regretting it. Hopefully by next summer I will have my new setup together.

Just be glad you still have a car

P.S. A turbo car is worth it, until its stolen from you and you lose a lot of money, then you realize maybe it wasnt.....

My advice, keep it in a garage

Do not give up now I know how you feel. We are also in the process of finishing up our Dual Purpose Blk civics turbo set-up. We have run into a few quirks but patience and time will take care of those problems. Prayer helps too belive me! Anyhow Just remember how bad you fell behind that corvette keep that in mind when building your street/strip machine your building something out of nothing that is going to blast higher end cars that were built by a factory what fun is that anyways! Keep all those times that you have lost in your memory alive. Keep on vtecing these camaros and Stangs> I know you have what it takes stick to it if you cant then find a more suitable hobby. Remember your only about three steps away to victory...
