Default 2 1/4" IC pipes ; Garrett turbo?

I was wondering if this is adequate. I'm going to run a T3/T4 turbo with some sort of FMIC (still looking). Probably about 8-10psi on a stock ls motor. Just hoping for 13's in the 1/4 in my heavy *** Integra.

I've found someone selling the pipings for a decent price and it's already pre-frabricated for my car.

What do you guys think? (I remember some people were recommending 2" from turbo to IC and then 2.5" to intake manifold; that was a few years ago).

Thanks.

2 or 2.25 is fine, 2.5 is a little big but not bad.

I have 2.5" from the IC to TB and 2" before the IC, but I'm replacing about half of the 2.5" with 2" today and I will post results .... hoping for a little faster spool up.

Thanks. Let us know if it's a good switch.

What do you guys think about a Garrett T3/T4 (compressor a/r= .50, turbine a/r= .48)

vs a Garrett (57 trim .63 A/R - Stage 3 Housing).

-same application (LS motor) daily driven (8-10psi).

What's the cost of these new? Would $500 for one of these new be a good deal?

Thanks.

Are you talking about 2 1/4 from turbo to intake manifold?

remember that if you have smallewr pipping you will boost a bit sooner... as to if you have bigger pipping it will need to fill up that area(space).

now i have a pipping kit for you car..first set is

2inch from turbo to ic and 2 1/4 from ic to throttle body

2in from turbo to ic 2 1/4 from ic to engine bay and 2 1/2 from engine bay to throttle body

im or email me for pricing

I have a full 2.5 inch charge piping and it spools like a *****! I get full boost in first gear (8psi) at around 5k then every gear is just insane after....I think that the bigger pipes actually help....

Don't think so. Mine is 2.5" on the cold side and spools pretty slow.

a full 8psi boost at 5000?

You do know that would be considered a terribly slow spool!!

Heh that's what I was thinking. That's similar to what mine does with 2 inch in 2.5 inch out.

2.25 is perfect. I run that. I have the turbo above, the .63/57. Times are in the sig, you should easily hit 12's in an integra with a good setup.

EDIT* Dont buy the .48 housing, you will be kicking yourself if so. Especially since you wanna run up to 10 psi.
