i have a 98 civic with a t3/t3 turbo. i have a missing link and the map sensor still reads boost. i am only running 9 pounds on the street and after i reset the ecu, about 15 minutes later the check light comes on.

i also have a v-afc. i heard that there is a v-afc trick to fool the map sensor.

 

sure is search for vafc hack. pretty much not using a FMU or misssing link...details under the seach section.
