Default 14b vs 15g

Hi
Im looking at turboing my D15 civic, and was looking at the 14b or the 15g turbo. whats the difference beteween the two, and which would you guys reccomend. I want to boost at like 7-8 lbs. and make around 180-200hp, so like 160 at the wheels.
Thanks for your help/input

they are both pretty small turbos about .42/.48 basicaly size of a t3.
if i were you i go with the 14b just because they are so easy to find and pretty cheap. dsmtrader has tons of good ones. but with both you can reach 160whp no problem.
on my old d16 i made 164whp/158lbs@9psi stock exhaust/cat, with anything other than stock it would have made easy 180whp.
good luck

The 15g is a TD04 turbine and the 14b is a td05h larger turbine. td04 spools faster but td05 holds slightly higher and longer boost.

Agreed. 14b > 15g

The 14b can almost support 300whp, whereas the 15g has problems getting over 250whp.

Whats the full designation? Just remember TD05 (.48 a/r Exh) > TD04 (.42 a/r Exh). And TD06 (.60 a/r Exh) > TD05 (.48 a/r Exh)
