Default *help* need to install a oil pressure gauge. but broke.

hello.

i need to install my oil pressure sensor somewhere on the engine.

i have a fasturbo oil line kit. i wanted to fit a "t" somewhere on the line but our local machine shop dont have fittings fot the 3an line.

i cant afford a sandwich plate,

where else can i read correct oil pressure from?

is it or ok to weld a fitting on the oil pan below the oil level and locate the sensor there?

thanks for any help...

Sandwich plates are 50 bucks. If you can afford a turbo you can afford a sandwich plate.

If you want to install a oil pressure gauge, all you have to do is get a T fitting, and on the top part of the T fitting, you need to attach your oil pressure sending unit then on the other end of the T connect to where the oil pressure sensor was then with the end sticking out just connect the end of the gauge hose to it

If you cant afford a t fitting, which is $1.25 then you shouldnt be spooln

Go to a Home Improvment store ( Home depot, Lowes) GO to there plumbing section..

They have every thing you need

if you dont have money to buy it, then steal it or somthing
