I live in texas too but I live south. I run E85 all the time. I have a list of where the E85 stations are in Texas.

So if im driving my car up to dallas I change it to 93 but if im down south i keep it E85 because I'm only a few miles from the stations. I love the ability to switch whenever i choose to.

Tony1 will teach you how to drain it if he tunes your car.
Hmm how long does it take? It sounds pretty simple but I just dont want to be looking like a weirdo at the gas station wrenching under my car haha

most OEM gas tanks have a drain bolt on the bottom of the gas tank too, I know mine does.

My car only drinks E85, wouldnt have it any other way for the street.

wooo hooo found this thread again!!

Well i just Changed my HG put in some ITR cams/ITR valvesprings/ARP's new valve stem seals and a new turbo manifold... time for a retune and some moarrr power!! i was quite amazed when we poped the head off to look at a 172k mile motor... you can still see the hone marks on the facking cylinder walls .... the top of the pistons were very clean too like if the motor was ran for one day and torn apart.. E85 does burn cleaner!

How about soem E85/E98 dyno vids? non honda but they are worth watching!

English racing tuned 900whp+ 1G (owned by Jeff Bush) tuned on E98!

go for the cams man!! i picked up the ITR valvetrain with cams minus the valves for $320... off the WG which is like 10-11 psi for me the car would trap 117-118 all day... we just retuned it and off the WG it feels like a 120 trap... i think that 14psi will be very close to 400whp now.. which would be great!! track opens here on friday and im ready! hahah

well our tuners brother has a stock block gsr with arp's that was tuned on e98 and put down 460 wheel on a dynojet on 21 psi. not sure what cams...i think itr's along with some supertech springs. he also trapped 10.80's last season. not sure what mph tho.

myles can confirm.

it did 460whp@21psi Via SC61 on E98.... Bone stock internal motor no ITR cams and i think it does have supertechs... the car went 10.90@130mph 1.70 60ft.....

oo maybe it was that s2k that was at 98%...must have gotten them confused...

Well the track opens here this friday, my car last year @ 370-380whp was going consistant 11.50's@123-124...its my DD and weekend race car, as of now i dont have any cage at all.. and they are pretty strict up here on those things... my Goal was 430whp or a high 10 sec pass...id rather do the 10 sec pass than 430whp tho ... im going to see where the car is at on the power level its at now.. your setup would be alot easier to extract 450-460whp than mine would... my lil old 57 trim might be struggling up there :p... i just have an off the shelf AFI Street turbo kit...

Pretty cool looking valve cover there!!

Well i went to the dyno today... dyno was fubar ... first pass did 512whp and the map was all wierd, next 3 passes guess i maxed out the dyno @1000+whp.... hahaha so that didnt work out to well... then i went to my tuner and we deciced to up the boost a bit... fininally now i have some solid datalog proof on how much boost i am actually running.. WG shows a solid 10.3-10.5psi, (B setting) 35% duty cycle on the Tru-Boost Showed a solid 12.7-13.0psi and (A Setting) 44% duty cycle on the tru boost showed 15.3-15.7psi... it has a constant creep to 16psi... 3rd gear now fininally spins when i roll onto it.. even when i was trapping 123-124 it wouldnt spin 3rd ... so i know its up on power.. nothing else has changed in the suspension/tires... when i did my fastest 1/4 mile time last year i was running 35% duty cycle friday i will know how much real power its putting down

how about a valve cover like this?

Im guessing its around 400whp but i really have no clue.. if i go out and trap 125+ on friday night then thats about 400whp give or take a few HP... i never really have trusted dynos... TRAP SPEED is how i figure out all of my hp numbers... i always thought if there was a dyno that was in a wind tunnel and the speed of the wind = the speed the tires are rolling on your car, then id think that would be a pretty accurate dyno (- Load) of course...

the way my boost comes in is gradually not an instant 16psi... i dont see 16psi untill 6500rpm... so i think thats one factor on why it never has really spun.. i went out and weighed my car on the way home, car right now with everything it has in it including a full tank weighs 2750 with me in it... my tuner weighs about 180-200 give or take so the car was pretty heavy compared to how i race it at the track which is about 2615lbs...

Send me a valve cover and i can do one like you want

I bet your car weighs like 2400-2500lbs with driver... damn hatch's are light... im jealous! my friends LST hatch weighs 2350 with driver...he can make 340-350whp and trap the same as me making 50-60whp more ....

Yeah i will shurly let you know how it goes friday night!
