I'm trying to figure out why 2001 civic won't start. Going through ignition diagnostic and need to know where the map sensor is. Can someone explain.

 

Should be up on your throttle body. Either attached right to it with three wires coming out of it, or there might be a small hose coming off your throttle body going to it mounted on the firewall.

 

O.K probably not testing the ecm correctly. I do not get any current at the map sensor. My car will not start out of the blue. The CEL comes on but does not shut off after 2 sec.. Instead CEL stays on for 16 sec. then blinks 5 times before shutting off.

Is there some code this is showing? I've gotten another code from a code reader that has to do with emissions but not related to this problem.

 

Where can i find the main relay on the 2001 civic?
