I'm going to assume that you are looking for information on an OBD1 ECU.

This is looking at the ECU from the wire side of things.

I just got the AEM Uego O2 sensor guage and sensor... did you end up keeping your factory o2 sensor and welding the provided bung on or did you replace the factory O2 sensor with the one provided by AEM and wire it in. If you did, may i ask how you connected it without having Heated O2 sensor malfunction codes come on?

He probably disabled the heated sensor through software.

I had a 2nd bung welded in so I can run my wideband and the dyno shop could add a second O2 sensor as well. I plan to run a stock o2 into D14 and add wideband through D10 when I get back on it this year for closed-loop driving.

What purpose does D10 ELD normally serve? I've pretty much done the same thing... added a second bung, and am running both O2's (stock to p28 s300 and the wideband to the guage) but i'd like to datalog the wideband. Is D10 the pin i should be using?

Why don't you just get an Innovate LC-1 WB O2 & controller. That way you could run one of the LC-1's O2 controller output wires to the ELD and configure it for wideband logging. Then connect the LC-1's second output wire to D14 and configure it for stock Honda closed loop operation? No need to run 2 sensors?

Sounds like a good setup, however, the stock sensor is already present (i didn't have to buy it) and the AEM guage/controller will operate the gauge and go to d10 for logging. If i hadn't purchased the AEM already, i would consider the Innovate: at this point... it's too late but thankfully there are no losses.

Oh and to answer your fist question about the ELD (electronic load detector) The ELD is a component that the ECU uses to regulate the alternator's output. It senses the load that the accessories and lighting put on the alternator and increases the out put if necessary. So you don't get that dimming light syndrome when your RPMs drop or the dancing lights when your stereo is using some juice.

My eld is broke then cuz my lights dim all the time. Unless I disabled it via crome.

Either way I will be running eCtune this year and I will run analog through D14 and wideband through an input whether D10 or another one less used or already removed.

I was gonna run a 2nd O2 but I don't feel like rewiring my engine harness. I just wanted to make sure that if my plx takes a dump I will have a little backup to get me home.
