Default code 3, switched MAP but now no start?

Code 3.

Car runs ok but no vtec. I took a different sensor off another throttle body but now it wont even start. I put the old sensor back on and it started again, but with code 3.

Car idles great. runs great up to 4k were it starts to bog. At 6k it gets loud as hell and acts like rev limiter.

Sensors are the exact same part number. The replacment one worked 100% a few weeks ago on another car.

It will start with the old sensor on there but not with the new one. I know this new one works because I just took it off a working car. Same part number and everything.....

Code comes on about 4 seconds after the car starts.

I cleaned the throttle body this morn.

Check you vacuum lines and the "tee's" sometimes they get plugged up.

Sometimes the map sensors look the same but the connectors inside are swapped.
I know you said they are the same part number, but that P/N might be for the case, not for the whole thing.

Map's are easy to check, get out the voltmeter!!
Also push the wires (from the backside of the connector) into the map while you have it connected you might just have a bad connection.
