Hand Detailing Tips
I can't speak of experience using the Liquid Glass line since I've never used it before.
Here are some reviews from others though.

Hmm.. judging from these reviews, the product seems to be a Polish AND a Wax. I am planning on doing a complete wash/polish/wax tomorrow morning so I will get to see the results first hand.. I wonder if I should still apply my Meguiers Gold Class wax after I use this Liquid Glass?

whats a sealer and when/do you use it?
Also many of the over the counter stores around here dont have some of those products mentioned earlier. Any other easier to find decent brands out there?

Sealer is a protectant for the paint, much like wax. You use it when you would otherwise use wax. Some people like to wax over it.
A lot of these products won't be found at Autozone or Shucks. Those places have **** for selection. Look in your phone book for auto body supply shops.

Combination products are not usually products you want to buy. This includes cleaner waxes, which are polish and wax in one.
At least I would not substitute a "Wash and Wax" style car wash for actually polishing and waxing your car. "Wash and Wax" style car wash can be useful as a sort of "wax booster" wash.

Just go to sears and buy a craftsman I've had ours for about 13 years and its still working like the day we bought it they arent all that expensive I have a huge one and a small one that you carry around.

there was a demo stand at a local gas station, and he gave me a demo, then told me the can was 20 dollars

A few Thoughts and Questions?
1. Eran - hurry up and marry this girl.
The day I find a girl that is **** about keeping her car clean and does not mind me dropping $$$ into my car is the day I get down on a knee. NOT ONLY THAT BUT SHE LOVES HONDAS..... what more could you ask for???
2. NOFX - YOU ROCK!!!!!
3. Aside from the compound what do you think of 3M products?
4. What do you think of Eagle One wax?
Again - thanks for awesome write up.

Thanks.
3M products... so far I haven't found one I don't like.
As far as Eagle One, not reall my first choice. I'd probably be more likley to use their tire shine or wash than anything.
Just don't buy the Eagle One Nano Wax. I tried it once... It was like I was rubbing turkey grease on the car. It was really gross. My boss at the parts store I was working at at the time told me it gets better the next time you use it, but I didn't keep it long enough. I think I gave it away. $15 down the drain.

Would you say that Megiars is a better brand than 3M?
Isn't it always safe and better to stick with one single brand of product. In this case you use Meguiars products which work great...
The reason I ask is because I've always used a combination of produts and I have a few 3M products so I figure I would just continue with them.
if you feel different and think meguiar's is a better brand than i'll go ahead a drop the money on all new products.
let me know what you think - thanks.

I use Meguiar's, Mothers and 3M primarily. I use a few other brands too, but I'd have to walk out to the garage to make sure of what those might be.
You don't really have to stick with one particular brand. Some brands have their strong points of course though. For example, I like a lot of Mothers products... but I haven't had luck with their clay bars.
Eran belives that Meguiar's is more "user-friendly" than 3M as a whole. I could agree with that. 3M products are marketed more as a professional line, where Meguiar's has both a comsumer line (maroon bottles) and a professional/commercial line (tan bottles for the most part).
Thought I started with the maroon bottles, I quickly found I prefer the tan bottle products. The professional line also has more products while the consumer line has only the basics really.

If you need to check out reviews, head over to autopia, they've got a pretty good database set up.
For detailing, I usually go through this routine twice a year:
Mind you, I only opt for a sealant base because I live in socal and my car's parked outside. In this case typical carnauba waxes will not last past 2 weeks, if even that.
-wash with dish washing liquid
-clay
-wash with dish washing liquid
-polish the paint with a medium polish (I use a meguiar's, but I forgot which #)
-polish the paint with fine polish (meguiar's swirl remover, forgot the # again)
-prepare the paint for sealing with Klasse AIO, two layers with several hours between layers.
-seal the paint with 2-3 layers of Klasse Sealant Glaze, with at least 12 hours between coats.
-top it off with S100 carnauba.
When the car gets washed weekly, it gets topped off with an extra layer of s100. Klasse sealant glaze is supposedly good for about 6 months, but the s100 should seal in the klasse sealant.
-as for additional tips, PLEASE make sure you only wash/wipe/dry/polish/wax your car in one direction.

Dish washing liquid can dry out the car. Paint and trim. I wouldn't recommend making a habit of it.
A normal car wash liquid is fine. Polish and clay should remove any wax traces anyway.
