Tried converting to OBD1 today, but it was the wrong distributor.

If anyone wants to buy a TD-42U or wants to trade for a TD-41, lemme know!

I know you want a single stage m.b.c., but I'll sell you my Turbosmart Dual Stage m.b.c.

Well, since I now work for Honda, and since Christmas is on it's way, all my money has been going toward tools and presents.

I do have a lil' something something coming my way. Let's just say I got alot of soldering ahead of me.

Rome wasn't built in a day...

And neither is a full-on setup. Built engine, tranny, drivetrain, and then a whole turbo setup on top of that isn't cheap. Not to mention all the little "luxuries" that are going into it.

HAHA! Don't know how far you read into the thread, but that **** snapped in half. Literally. I would get an edelbrock header. It's a good, cheap alternative.

Thanks man.

In case I forgot to mention it, the car is now OBD1.

I started the gauge install tonight, gonna finish it up tomorrow. I think I may just finish the lighting tomorrow, and then do all the sending units another day.

I'll have to get some NPT plugs to plug the holes for the turbo feed line and install the oil pressure and oil temp senders off of my Fast-Turbo firewall distribution block. The boost gauge will just be have to be a vac. gauge for now I'll hook up my vacuum log and plug the extra nipples for now. the coolant temp will just be screwed into the bleed screw hole.

Gauges, yay!

I have been meaning to look into converting mine over...Did you notice ANY difference? It just makes it more tunable correct?
Also without me going back and reading...what motor do you have again?

If anything, it's slower. The power seems to be choppy now. I'm assuming due to the fact that it's the fuel and ignition tables from a different motor, lol. (sohc zc running a P06 ecu.)

I only did it for tuning down the road.

It choppy because it's running lean. The Engine is ingesting more air than the computer is compensatiing for, I think
