Yeah, well now I gotta do an overbore. I talked to the machine shop and they said it'd be $125 for a bore and hone. So, add that so the $775 for Arias pistons and Eagle rods and you have $900. Add in the HG and whatever else I need and it's a little over $1000 for this motor.

I need to buy the rest of my turbo stuff also. *hint hint Autoworks*

I'm building a D16A6. Basically the same motor.

I'm using the ZC head partly for that reason, and mostly because it's clean as hell! Auto engines FTW.

 

Bought a TD-41 Dizzy just now. I just need a chipped P06 and I'll be OBD1.

 

Micrometer and rod bolt stretch gauge just came in.

The micrometer set is straight baller...



EDIT: Ring compressor just arrived.

Also did a little weight reduction.




I should run 10's now.

And got the girlfriend to wash my car. CRACK THAT WHIP SON!



Unfortunately, after washing it, she proceeded to back up into it. I think the bumper support might be bent a little bit, but I'm not really worried, I probably gotta trim and bend it for the intercooler anyway. The fender to bumper has a little gap I gotta get sorted out now.
