Thanks alot man.

BTW: THE CAR IS RUNNING!!! WOOHOO It sounds so freaking mean on open headers too! I'm gonna try to get it welded up today.

Started up first crank!!! I had a CEL for a code 10 but I switched the right plug on the EACV and it works perfect now! I'll post an update tonight...

Hell ya! I was so nervous it wouldn't start, but it did!

I had a bit of an idle problem, but the idle screw was a little loose. I tightened it up and, viola! I'm so stoked. I just got back from a little test run. It pulls pretty damn good. Esp. compared to my old P.O.S. D15B1. I was so worried a cop would hear my open header but thankfully no one did!

Congrats on your first swap!

I remember turning the key after my first swap, and how nice it was when it started up with no CELs.

Looks like you learned a lot along the way. Next swap you should be able to knock out in an afternoon

Well, because of my tranny, unless I am in the powerband, it is still pretty slow. But if I am revving in the powerband, andI punch it, it goes!!! So much harder than the 70 hp peice of crap I had before...

It pulls hard all the way to redline... I am more than happy with it. I would recommend this engine to anyone!

I'll try to get some pics of finished product later tomorrow after a nice wash!

congrats Nothing feels better than to get your project to crank on the first try. Hell, I still get excited every time I cut my grass and my lawnmower cranks on the first pull (gotta love the B&S)
now put some heat shrink on those injector wires

Ya, that's my project for tomorrow. I'm electrical wrapping and heatshrinking everything.

It's a rat's nest right now!
