Thanks. REALLY hoping that I can get rid of the POS sometime this month. The guy who had it before me had repainted it, and now it is flaking. So I wet sanded some of it and the flakes went away. It looks better, just hope whoever buys it next doesn't look too close at it.

Yeah here are a few

Hitting the dyno for a 73 hp run with the old D15B2

Got hit from the side about a week later, spent about 200 fixing it (including paint, parts and a 90-91 front end. The lady paid for about 700 worth of the rest.

After that I sold it, and then bought it back for half of what I sold it for. Came with a D16Y8.

Took the ad off CL this morning. I am going to give it another month and then if I can't get it running I am selling it.

ahhhh nice. i'm trying to buy back my old hatch that well i'm no going into the details but basically my mom screwed me out of the car and now i'm trying to get it back. i have a job interview today in an hour (yay!) and hopefully i'll get it. then i can get my car back.

as far as today, i replaced my passenger side tweeter, and drove it around the neighborhood. stubborn car. overheats and blows white smoke one day, now today it still smokes like a train cuz of bad rings but pulls like a mother effer. i'm not sure i wanna drive it, cuz i don't want it to over heat, but damn it all i hate driving my tank of a van.

^Hope you get it back. If I can't get enough money for more parts then I am just going to sell it. I got 1 offer last night for 1000, but I figure if I throw another 200 into it I can get maybe 1500 for it. But we will see what happens.

meh it's what ever, it's not for me it's for my g/f. her parents thought it would be a good idea to not allow her to get a newer honda, no instead lets get her a gm/daewoo car re badged as a suzuki forenza, which has multiple problems, almost no stock or aftermarket support, and gets on average 20mpgs when her ef died.

$700 isn't bad man. I bet you can get that much. Hope you get the job too! I told my friends about the hatch going up for sale at the end of the month. So if I get any bites from them I am going to start looking at a S13 or something else.

good stuff. my buddy camron has an s13, has had it for like 3 years. i think it started out as a single slam grocery getter from some old lady, then he swapped in a twin cam k series, and now he just put in an sr20. i love those things, but i wish they weren't so expensive

quick update before i go to my interview. just got back from the junk yard, scored a 20 spline clutch and pressure plate assembly from an 89 crx hf, tried to get the oil cooler off of it but no dice, need a big deep socket (which i didn't have with me). also snagged a four wire o2 sensor. gotta remove it from the manifold still (came off of a legend but will still work) and solder the four wires back together, but i have one now that will work untill i can afford a new one. now it's off to my job interview!

Sorry but that dome light and the twitters really mess your interior up. Doesnt flow at all. A for effort tho. I dont mean to be a dick at all, but why bother to install anything if it doesnt fit or its not meant to be there?

tweeters have a cause, i like my tunes and i LOVE crisp treble. map light is MEH. i thought i would need it since i THOUGHT i was going to be using my car for a delivery job and that i'd need the light, but that fell through. i'm going to re do my headliner with a custom head liner, and at that time i am going to patch up my headliner and then will cover up the patch when i redo my headliner with fabric.

i might talk to my buddy about helping me make some custom tweeter pods that replace the window wiring cover. i chose this over butchering my door pannels (learned that the hard way) because it is easyer to find the plastic thingys than it is to find door panels.

no offense taken misha

Big ballin!! Gotta admit,**** looks good. 1) sell exhaust & pick up wheels / or suspension 2) front lip 3) do not wet the bra if you want it to last!!!!!!!!! All constructive criticism. Take it 4 what its worth.

lol it's funny you said something about a lip, i was just thinking earlyer that my car would look GREAT with front and rear lips and some side skirts. but sadly i've had to pass up so many lips at the junk yard due to lack of fundage. provide i pass my back ground check and drug test (which i will) i will have a job here in the next week or so. going to buy suspension rims and tires for it. believe me i can't WAIT to upgrade to 15's. i've got an ex knuckle swap just dyin to be put on here. as far as the exhaust, i like it. it's an oem SIR exhaust. i have been thinking of getting a custom built magnaflow exhaust, but for now this works great. it's not stock by any means. 2.5" piping all the way from the cat back. super quiet, but nice and deep at the same time.

my buddy danny had a custom exhaust on his eg that was either 2.25" or 2.5" piping from the cat back to a magnaflow muffler. sounded nice and deep and quiet.

thanks for the tip on the bra. i had to get it wet cuz it was DIRTY. what do i do about the rain tho? my car isn't a garage queen (unfortunately) so it sits out side in my drive way all the time

^^ Junk yard lips =(down here any ways) $7 each mine came off a early mazda 626, Id perfer it over the DA lips cuz the mounting point 4 the DA lips are in the middle. So say its 2" tall, 1" will cover your bumper, so that leaves you w/ only 1" of loweredness...Yeah thats not a word but ehh.

Oh, also Ive been looking @ old dirtys(pre 88 civic/crx's) front lips, there tall and mock up great with the rear bumper and the bra thing, meguires interior spray ... the shizznit! makes your interior look like new, but wont leave that wack residue armoral does. as for the rain...its up to you, water will cause it to sag / fade. Im probably gonna put mine away when it starts to rain.
