Re: my b18c build
the pX is not a manifold made for a 2.0 liter.. it can work well, sometimes.. but often enough, it doesn't carry a big enough plenum for the needs of a bigger motor..

Re: my b18c build
that is true. i didnt clearly separate both posts. i meant why not a 2.0 liter build. and if your going with a 1.8 still why not go to a pX over blox

Re: my b18c build
When I said it would fall short, I wasn't talking 200whp, I was talking your goal of 240whp. I'm thinking you'll be lucky to hit 220whp with that build but regardless of what your dyno spits out as a number, I'm thinking your trap speeds will indicate a 215-220whp actual power output at best. I'm only saying that honestly. I'd love to be wrong about this and give you credit for a great build if you reach your goals.

wiseco 13.2:1 to 14:1 pistons :good deal
pnp p72 head and milled just a lil to clean it up :what are the flow bench numbers
skunk2 pro3s :may be a bit large for this application but it will make power up top
blox ported intake mani :good deal
hytech tri-y big tube replica :To make better than average power, you should look at a header more suited to your goals.
:Hopefully you are running a 3" exhaust
