Low-mileage, and 99% stock, this may just be the perfect example of a DC2 Integra.

2018 has been a big year for Honda. No, not because of their current line-up of vehicles, but, instead, all eyes have been on classic Hondas. This DC2 Integra GS-R, shown on auction site Bring-A-Trailer, is a perfect example of this phenomenon. As modern cars continue to get larger, softer, and heavier, they tend to lack the connected, back-to-basics feel that old Hondas offered in spades. So, people are scooping them up and hanging on for dear life. Just look at EM1 Civic Si selling prices, if you don’t believe us. Soon they will all be trading hands for as much as a brand new Civic Si on the dealer lot.

That all brings us back to this particular DC2. It’s really clean, right? Well, as Bring-A-Trailer’s ad states, the car comes with a clean CARFAX, and no reported accidents, other than a few scrapes and scratches from age. Oh, and check out the odometer. Despite coming up on 25 years of age, this GS-R has a reported 84,965 miles on the odometer.

The paintwork is original, and in excellent condition, as is the perfectly-preserved interior. This thing is looking more like a time capsule and less like a car parked outside. Even the carpets look clean enough to eat off of.

Then there’s the engine. Under the hood is an all-original B18C engine, paired to the excellent 5-speed manual transmission. Everything looks to be in great shape, however, the seller does note that it’s unclear if the timing belt has ever been replaced.

This brings up another curious oddity. The ad states that the original owner put about 84,000 of those miles on the car, however, since then, it’s been sold twice. Owner number three is the one selling the car. We hope these people aren’t just buying and flipping the car for profit. These old Hondas are driver’s cars, after all.

None the less, this is a super clean Teg, and one worth checking out, even if it’s just to see the sky-high bids. This will soon be a $20,000 car, bet on it.
