How achievable is 250-300hp RELIABLY on a boosted civic?
Could I get 250-300 out of a stock block(D16y8)? I'm in college so i dont have the budget for an insane build nor do i want something crazy fast, is this achievable on a stock block reliably?
Any first hand experience would be huge thanks!

Which engine is key, obviously. Keep in mind that to get more power, requires some supporting mods, tuning, upgraded cooling, fuel, etc, etc…
personally, I think you should determine what you want to do with it, and what type of driving you will be doing with that power level, rather than just chasing a number. Also consider that you will want to upgrade things like brakes, and suspension, if you want to safely use that power.

That would be expensive with that engine.
In 2005 i put a turbo kit together on a D16y7 for less than $750 that went 13.50 @ 105, 185whp, 175tq. Was as a great street car back then, maybe not so much now...
The reliable way to go would be LS turbo with a large turbo to hit 300whp reliably.
